DENVER – The Colorado Chamber of Commerce and the SHRM Colorado State Council today announced the honorees for the second annual “Companies that Rock the Rockies” program, an initiative recognizing Colorado employers creating the best workplace cultures for their employees.
“We are proud to recognize the outstanding employers selected for this year’s Companies that Rock the Rockies program,” said Colorado Chamber President and CEO Loren Furman. “These honorees are raising the bar for workplace culture in Colorado by creating environments where employees feel valued, supported and empowered to succeed. Their commitment to a strong, healthy workplace not only benefits their teams but also strengthens our state’s economy and business community.”
“SHRM Colorado is proud to partner in recognizing the employers setting the standard for workplace culture across our state,” said SHRM State Director Kirstin Guptill. “Highlighting these organizations helps elevate what it means to support, develop, and value employees. We are honored to celebrate the local businesses strengthening both their teams and our communities.”
Each company was selected through a comprehensive two-part assessment process managed by Workforce Research Group, which operates top workplace programs across the nation. The selection process included a thorough evaluation of both employer policies and benefits, as well as feedback from employees through an anonymous engagement survey.
The honorees demonstrated a strong commitment to supporting employees through initiatives focused on recognition, professional growth and overall wellbeing. All companies offer formal recognition programs and provide reimbursements or assistance for professional development opportunities, while also encouraging community engagement through volunteer and give-back initiatives. Many organizations offer perks such as festivals and concerts, vacation stipends, holiday celebrations and daily team lunches. Each company also reported voluntary turnover rates of 10% or less, reflecting strong employee retention and positive workplace cultures.
The companies will be honored at the Colorado Chamber’s Executive Connections Reception on April 7, 2026, where the winner rankings will be announced.
