In the Colorado Chamber’s Vision 2033 action plan, the state’s technology industry is identified as a strong industry asset cluster helping to drive economic growth. The Chamber believes we have the opportunity to be a leading state for technology growth – but we must advance the right policies to attract tech companies and jobs.
The Chamber’s Technology Alliance will unite the voice of statewide tech industry competitiveness in Colorado. The alliance will fight legislation and regulations that threaten Colorado’s national technology leadership, promote solutions that increase the state’s tech competitiveness, and educate state leaders on the industry.
Objectives of the Alliance
- Educate state leaders and the public on the benefits of this industry that attracts and retains skilled workers,
- Stop the advancement of technology legislation that reduces Colorado’s competitiveness with other states.
- Educate legislators on the impact of their proposals that impact this industry.
- Unite a strong statewide voice to bring awareness of the industry through research and advocacy.
The Technology Alliance is a critical initiative of Vision 2033, the Colorado Chamber’s blueprint to improve the state’s business climate. Learn more about it here.
