Colorado State Treasurer Discusses SecureSavings, Options for Keeping Employers in Compliance

Deadlines are coming-up for businesses to comply with a new state law requiring employers with five or more workers to offer retirement plans for their employees. The Colorado State Treasurer, Dave Young joined Hunter Railey, Executive Director of Colorado’s SecureSavings program and Kirsten Hunter-Peterson, VP of Workplace Thought Leadership at Fidelity on a call with local chambers of commerce and members of the Colorado Chamber to discuss the mandate that went into effect this year, options for employers that are provided by the state as well as on the private market.
