2026 National Civics Bee® Colorado State Finals
Location: Daniels Great Hall, The Cable Center
Fees/Admission: Registration is free, but required to attend.
The Colorado Chamber Foundation, in partnership with the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Foundation and the Daniels Fund, is proud to host the fourth annual National Civics Bee® Colorado State Finals. This dynamic competition encourages 6th, 7th, and 8th graders to think critically about civic issues, develop solutions for their communities, and showcase their knowledge in a fast-paced quiz and public speaking format.
Featuring the top three winners from each regional location (Alamosa, Arvada, Brush, Buena Vista, Carbondale, Denver Metro, Durango, Eastern Plains/Colorado Springs, Grand Junction, and Lamar), students will compete for recognition and cash prizes, with $1,000 for first place, $500 for second, and $250 for third. The state champion will also advance to the National Championship in Washington, D.C. in Fall 2026, where they will compete for $100,000 in scholarships and other prizes.
The Colorado State Finals will be recorded and available as a special broadcast on 9News.
The National Civics Bee® inspires young Americans to engage in civic life and empowers them to be leaders in their communities. Learn more about the Bee here.
