The Alamosa County Chamber Foundation, in partnership with the Colorado Chamber of Commerce Foundation and U.S. Chamber of Commerce Foundation, will host its area’s regional competition for the National Civics Bee. The Alamosa Bee is scheduled for 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon in the Adams State University Richardson Hall Auditorium (208 Edgemont Boulevard).
Middle school students from the area will compete in a live quiz event and answer questions from judges to test their civics knowledge. Finalists from the Alamosa competition will then have the chance to participate in the state-level competition hosted by the Colorado Chamber of Commerce in Denver on July 24, 2026.
