Faces Behind the Chamber: Steve Jorgensen

The Colorado Chamber is recognizing members of our staff to highlight the hard work they do to be a unifying voice for business and champion a healthy economic climate to secure Colorado’s future.

As senior director of partnerships for the Colorado Chamber Foundation, Steve Jorgensen focuses on building partnerships that support the Foundation’s Vision 2033 initiative, a 10-year strategic plan aimed at fostering economic growth across Colorado. Through his work, Steve collaborates with business leaders and organizations to strengthen engagement and support for the Chamber Foundation’s long-term goals.

What Steve enjoys most about his role is the opportunity to work with great people. Building relationships with leaders from across the business community and working together toward a shared vision for Colorado’s future is what he finds most rewarding.

One initiative Steve is especially excited about is the rollout of Vision 2033 briefings designed for executive business leaders. These sessions will provide opportunities for leaders to better understand the Foundation’s strategic priorities and explore ways they can engage with and support the mission to strengthen Colorado’s economic future.

Outside of work, Steve enjoys spending as much time outdoors as possible. His hobbies include mountain biking, fly fishing, high-altitude hiking, golf and disc golf. Steve recently achieved a personal milestone by mountain biking every trail on Green Mountain in just five hours.

One of Steve’s favorite places in Colorado is Pine Valley Ranch Park, a hidden gem that offers opportunities for mountain biking, hiking and fly fishing all in one place. For him, the best part about living and working in Colorado is the close proximity to family combined with the state’s world-class outdoor recreation opportunities.
