The Colorado Chamber Health Care Council convened on the second day of the 2026 legislative session to discuss newly introduced health care bills and hear about what to expect.
Council members heard updates from Chamber staff on introduced and draft legislation and provided feedback. Bill topics included an expansion of the Colorado Antitrust Act, artificial intelligence regulation, funding the state’s Medicaid program, the state’s artificial intelligence working group and the Health Insurance Affordability Enterprise. Members of the group also shared updates on the Colorado Prescription Drug Affordability Board. As the session progresses, staff will solicit feedback from members and take positions as additional health care legislation is introduced.
