A new version of Senate Bill 25-005, which sought to change the Colorado Labor Peace Act, will be back for the 2026 legislative session, bill sponsors and a coalition of union groups known as Colorado Worker Rights United announced with a Thursday rally at the Colorado State Capitol.

Meghan Dollar, the Colorado Chamber of Commerce’s senior vice president of governmental affairs and political operations, told the DBJ in December that the Chamber is always willing to have conversations. But the group strongly opposes getting rid of the second election.
