The Colorado Chamber’s Regulatory Affairs Council convened Monday for its September meeting, continuing its work to promote a balanced regulatory framework through collaboration with regulatory agencies.
The group was joined by speakers from the Regional Air Quality Council as they undertake a busy fall agenda. The RAQC was designated by the Governor as the lead air quality planning agency for the Denver Metropolitan and North Front Range region. Michael Silverstein, executive director, and Tom Moore, planning director, provided an update on the state’s emission reduction blueprint and outlined the next steps in the process. Regulatory Affairs Council members then had the opportunity to ask questions and provide feedback on the blueprint.
The Regional Air Quality Council outlined its fall agenda as it develops emission reduction policy recommendations. The Colorado Chamber will continue engaging members and sharing updates as the process moves forward. Written comments can be sent to [email protected] until RAQC’s November 7th board meeting, and the presentation on the RAQC blueprint can be found here.
