The Colorado Chamber of Commerce Foundation has announced the opening of essay submissions for the 2026 National Civics Bee. The goal of the initiative is to encourage young Americans to engage in civics and contribute to their communities. The state chamber has partnered with eight regional partners across Colorado to facilitate the program, including in Buena Vista.
Entry is free and open to public, private, charter, and homeschool students. To be eligible, students must be in sixth, seventh, or eighth grade in participating states
