DENVER – The Colorado Chamber of Commerce today congratulated its endorsed candidates for the 2024 General Election who won their respective elections yesterday evening. Thus far, 93% of the candidates supported by the Chamber have won their races, with three races still too close to call.
“In the General Election, the Colorado Chamber made bipartisan endorsements in state-level races to support candidates that demonstrated a strong commitment to the business community,” said Senior Vice President of Government Affairs and Political Operations Meghan Dollar. “We’re proud that 41 of our endorsed candidates have won their races so far, concluding a highly effective election year for the Chamber. We look forward to working with these legislative partners in the coming weeks and months as we prepare our ambitious policy agenda for 2025.”
“In the upcoming legislative session, the Chamber will be seeking out forward-thinking, proactive proposals to improve Colorado’s standing as a top state for business,” said President and CEO Loren Furman. “Colorado’s regulatory climate has been holding us back economically, stifling our competitiveness and limiting growth. This will be our top priority in the coming year, and the support of our legislative leaders will be critical to pass bold regulatory reforms to improve our statewide business climate.”
Each year, Colorado Chamber engages in an extensive candidate interview and endorsement process to identify pro-business candidates for office. Chamber-endorsed candidates who won their races last night are below, with House District 16, House District 50 and Senate District 12 being too close to call at the time of this release.
