Faces Behind the Chamber: Molly Kostka

The Colorado Chamber is recognizing members of our staff to highlight the hard work they do to be a unifying voice for business and champion a healthy economic climate to secure Colorado’s future.

As the Leadership Colorado Program Manager at the Colorado Chamber, Molly plays a pivotal role in shaping future leaders and executives of our state. Through the Leadership Colorado program, she organizes visits and experiences with a diverse range of businesses, aiming to inspire participants and foster a deeper interest in how policy intersects with business.

What Molly loves most about her role at the Chamber is the supportive environment and the opportunity to build meaningful relationships. Her colleagues have been instrumental in facilitating business introductions and sharing valuable insights about legislation and advocacy. With a background in television, aviation, tourism and conservation industries, Molly brings a unique perspective to her work, understanding how regulations can impact businesses differently across sectors. She especially enjoys the “adult field trips” with Leadership Colorado participants, exploring behind the scenes of companies and learning about the innovative work happening across the state.

Molly is particularly excited about the upcoming 2025 Leadership Colorado program. She’s working on featuring several companies and industries that haven’t been highlighted in previous years, with applications opening in October. Additionally, Molly is thrilled about this year’s Coolest Thing Made in Colorado contest, which celebrates home-grown products and showcases the best of Colorado’s innovation.

Outside of work, Molly enjoys spending time with her husband Joe and their young son Sullivan, exploring some of Denver’s best family-friendly spots like the Denver Zoo, Denver Museum of Nature and Science and Denver Botanic Gardens. These memberships are a staple in their weekend adventures. When it comes to unwinding, Molly loves attending performances at the Denver Center for the Performing Arts or relaxing with a good book and a glass of wine. She even manages a Little Free Library in her neighborhood, where she shares her favorite reads with the community.

Having lived on both the east and west coasts, Molly truly appreciates the quality of life in Colorado. She enjoys the state’s four seasons, abundant sunshine, and the perfect blend of sports, cultural attractions and natural beauty. One of her favorite getaways is a weekend at Mt. Princeton Hot Springs and nearby Salida, where she enjoys soaking in the hot springs under the starry night sky.
