The single-payer health care bill, which could create billions in new taxes on Colorado businesses, is scheduled to be debated on the Senate Floor TODAY.
It’s imperative that Senators hear from you as soon as possible in opposition to this legislation. HB 1075 would set the foundation for a government-run health care payment system that will strain the industry and threaten jobs.
Similar legislation has recently passed in the state of Oregon. The task force proposed a system which has been estimated to cost $20 billion in new taxes, including a $12.3 billion employer payroll tax.
