Summit Daily: Colorado’s middle school students could win thousands of dollars, and a trip to Washington, DC, with National Civics Bee competition

Submissions are now open for middle school students in Colorado who wish to compete in the 2024 National Civics Bee, which encourages sixth, seventh and eighth grade students to test their civic knowledge.

The Colorado Chamber of Commerce and the Colorado Chamber Foundation partnered with six chambers across the state to help administer the program and review submissions. Those are:

  • Arvada Chamber of Commerce
  • Buena Vista Chamber of Commerce
  • Craig Chamber of Commerce
  • Denver Metro Chamber of Commerce
  • Eastern Plains Chamber of Commerce
  • Windsor Area Chamber of Commerce & Visitor Bureau
