DBJ: Colorado chamber aims to enhance state’s competitiveness with two new alliances

The Colorado Chamber of Commerce is making headway on its 10-year plan to get the state’s business climate off what it calls the wrong path.

It formed new industry alliances on Thursday to address two “major risk factors” that will impact future economic growth in Colorado — the state’s legal climate and tech industry.

“We’re uniting industry experts to collaborate on statewide, solutions-driven reforms and policies,” Loren Furman, president and CEO of the Colorado Chamber of Commerce, said in a statement. “Together, these efforts will help bolster our broader business climate and secure our economic future.”
