Sales and Use Tax Simplification Task Force Meetings
Please be advised that the Sales and Use Tax Simplification Task Force will be meeting during the following dates/times and considering legislation for the 2022 Legislative Session:
- Friday, September 10, 10:00am to 4:00pm
- Friday, October 22, 10:00am to 4:00pm
During the September meeting, the Task Force will be requesting draft legislation from legislators and during the October meeting, the Task Force members will vote on those bill drafts to be considered by the Legislative Council Committee. The Task Force may request up to 10 bills to be drafted, but can only recommend 5 bills to be considered by the Legislative Council. If you have ideas regarding potential 2022 legislation, please feel free to send them to Loren Furman at [email protected].
