Webinar: Advanced Placement (AP) Career Kickstart Business and Personal Finance Course
The College Board has recently launched an Advanced Placement (AP) Career Kickstart Business and Personal Finance course for high school students to provide the skill-set businesses need to fulfill their hiring needs. Through this course, students will receive:
- An understanding of the field of business and its role in society
- An opportunity to learn how businesses create value and earn profits by meeting a customer’s needs
- Ability to learn personal finance concepts to enhance business knowledge and financial decision making
- Students who complete these courses have the opportunity to receive college credit, an employer-endorsed credential, and participate in work-based learning
