Over his career, Michael has represented companies in numerous industries including aviation, government contracting, manufacturing and software development. He routinely assists them on a wide array of matters, including formation, private equity fundraising and exit strategies. Michael has also assisted executives and employees on complex compensation matters such as restricted stock agreements or other equity awards. Michael has a master of laws in taxation (LL.M.) which helps him to advise his clients on tax matters that frequently arise in business transactions.
Michael also works with his clients to create estate plans that protect family wealth, particularly for young beneficiaries. Often, these clients are business owners or entrepreneurs with complex business holdings and diversified personal wealth.
Michael is a native of Tucson, Arizona and lifelong loyal fan of University of Arizona basketball. In his spare time, he enjoys mountain biking Colorado trails with his wife (a professional runner). Michael is the proud father of two children. He also enjoys skiing, SCUBA Diving and swimming.
