Ksenia Adams, CPA, serves as Vice President of Finance at Microstar Logistics. Microstar is headquartered in Denver, CO and provides keg leasing and logistics solutions to craft brewers around the country and in Europe. In this role, Ksenia has overall responsibilities for accounting, tax and financial reporting activities of the Company. Ksenia also works with craft brewers helping them navigate the complex world of sales tax compliance and reporting.
Prior to joining Microstar, Ksenia served as a Corporate Controller at Molycorp, Inc. Molycorp is a global rare earth minerals mining and manufacturing company. While at Molycorp, Ksenia completed an IPO and participated in several international mergers and acquisitions. Ksenia’s primary focus was SEC reporting and compliance, integration, IFRS and US GAAP reporting.
Prior to joining Molycorp, Inc. Ksenia was as a Senior Audit Manager at KPMG Denver. During her time at KPMG, Ksenia was fortunate to serve Colorado clients in a number of industries, including oil & gas, mining, telecom, healthcare and smaller tech companies. It was a great experience to work with a variety of Colorado companies, understand their business models and learn about the major issues these companies face. While at KPMG, Ksenia also served as a national audit instructor, training and coaching the new hires.
Ksenia graduated cum laude with a bachelor of science in accounting from Colorado State University and received her certified public accounting license in Colorado. Ksenia had the privilege of living in Colorado almost her entire life. She shares her passion of enjoying Colorado lifestyle with her family, whether it is hiking, snowboarding or simply strolling through the park. Ksenia has traveled through much of the state and truly believes there is no other place more beautiful and serene than Colorado.
