Elisabeth Willner joined the Consulate General of Canada in 2017. As Executive Assistant, Elisabeth works closely with the Consul General to strengthen trade, economic, political and cultural ties between Canada and a five-state region including her home state of Colorado. Originally from Estes Park, Elisabeth received dual bachelors’ degrees from Colorado State University in Journalism and French. To remain connected to the international community after school she sought out businesses with an international component, including the Alliance Française, a French cultural center, and Continental Book Company, a distributor of world language materials. At the Consulate Elisabeth has found the perfect outlet for her interest in politics, love of language and passion for international ties.
