In addition to her project-specific layout work, she is an expert developer who specializes in creating and implementing contemporary, user-friendly templates for businesses, government agencies, and private clients.
Devin is also a talented manager of people and processes. Her attention to detail, meticulous organizational skills, and project management experience inform her ability to deliver high-quality work products on time and within budget. No stranger to tight, high-pressure deadlines, Devin is committed to creating exceptional deliverables under any time-frame that wow end users both with their polished design and remarkable functionality.
In her role as the Central Regional Publications Associate Manager at Lockheed Martin, Devin leads a team of technical editors and desktop publishing professionals in support of Lockheed’s Proposal Operations group. Devin and her team edit and format documents to Lockheed’s standards and ensure administrative compliance with customers’ Request for Proposal requirements. As part of her managerial duties, Devin focuses on deadline adherence, process improvements, personnel retention, training materials development, project coordination, and quality checks for all work products. She also serves as a liaison for the Publications group to other contacts within the company and the community.
Prior to joining Lockheed Martin, Devin managed a Publications team for an environmental consulting and engineering firm based in San Diego, California. She was the lead desktop publishing expert in charge of many high-profile, public environmental documents, such as the multi-agency Desert Renewable Energy Conservation Plan and the South Sacramento Habitat Conservation Plan Environmental Impact Report.
Devin holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science with an emphasis in Public Law from University of California, San Diego. She is an avid yoga practitioner, hiker, and writer. Devin is currently hard at work on her first poetry chapbook, inspired in part by the wilderness of Colorado. When not reading, writing, or spending time outdoors, Devin enjoys spending time with her husband, Ryan, and their dog, Wilbur, at their home in Highlands Ranch.
