Chris currently works as a Chief Metallurgist with the Climax Molybdenum Company. His responsibilities include oversite of process engineering, laboratory, and process control activities. He has worked with the Climax Molybdenum Company for eight years in roles of increasing responsibility at both the Henderson and Climax Facilities.

Prior to working at the Climax Mine Site, Chris had worked as a South American based consultant and in a management role at a large precious metal mining operation located in Nevada. Chris holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Chemical Engineering and a Master’s of Science Degree in Environmental Engineering from the Colorado School of Mines.

As a longtime Colorado resident Chris has enjoyed watching the growth and development of the state. In his free time Chris enjoys running, cycling, fly fishing and hunting. He has completed multiple marathons and cycling events throughout the country, including the Leadville Colorado Race Series in 2016.
