Brooke Trammell is Regional Vice President, Rates & Regulatory Affairs and leads Xcel Energy’s regulatory strategy in Colorado. Xcel Energy Inc. is a utility holding company based in Minneapolis, Minnesota, serving more than 3.3 million electric and 1.8 million natural gas customers in Minnesota, Michigan, Wisconsin, North Dakota, South Dakota, Colorado, Texas and New Mexico. It consists of four operating company subsidiaries: Northern States Power-Minnesota, Northern States Power-Wisconsin, Southwestern Public Service Company and Public Service Company of Colorado. In Colorado, Xcel Energy serves 1.5 million electric customers and 1.4 million natural gas customers.
Previously in Amarillo, Texas, Ms. Trammell was Director, Customer & Community Relations for Xcel Energy’s Texas and New Mexico operations after managing various regulatory matters in those two states in other roles since 2012.
Prior to joining Xcel Energy, Ms. Trammell held various technical and managerial roles at PNM Resources, the Albuquerque-based parent holding company of Public Service Company of New Mexico and Texas-New Mexico Power Company.
Ms. Trammell earned her MBA with an emphasis in Management from West Texas A&M University as well as a Master of Arts degree in Economics with a specialization in public utility regulation and a Bachelor of Science degree in Agricultural Economics and Agricultural Business from New Mexico State University.
Ms. Trammell, her husband, and 10-month old daughter Trinity have recently relocated to Denver from Amarillo. They enjoy team roping and wake surfing and are looking forward outdoor adventures in Colorado.
