The event was the first time both candidates have taken the stage together during this election cycle. Held during the Colorado Chamber’s Annual Meeting Luncheon, the forum brought both candidates together for a discussion focused on the issues affecting Colorado employers and the state’s long-term economic outlook.
Candidates were pressed on their specific policy views on a range of critical business issues, including economic competitiveness, regulation, energy, health care, housing and workforce, tax policy and bipartisanship.
The forum was moderated by Ed Sealover, the Colorado Chamber’s vice president of strategic initiatives and editor of The Sum & Substance. Sealover is an award-winning journalist who has spent years covering Colorado business, economic development and public policy.
