According to the findings of the Chamber Foundation, closing these manufacturing gaps, streamlining the regulatory environment, and deploying targeted, competitive incentives are mandatory steps to ensure Colorado remains the epicenter of the new space race.

According to the Colorado Office of Economic Development and International Trade (OEDIT), Colorado’s flagship expansion programs have motivated 143 companies to move to or expand in the state since 2019, creating over 42,000 new jobs and generating $4.8 billion in wages. Conversely, the Colorado Chamber Foundation’s 2025 “Relocations Tracker” notes that 98 companies have relocated out of the state since 2019—with 27 leaving in 2025 alone. In both scenarios, Texas remains the primary competitor.
