Colorado’s aerospace industry is one of the largest in the nation, but it’s in danger of being taken for granted and more can be done to make sure industry jobs stay in state, according to the Colorado Chamber of Commerce Foundation.

The report delivered 18 recommendations for keeping Colorado a key aerospace hub. They included streamlining the permitting process for aerospace companies, more proactive engagement from the governor’s office, expanding incentives to lure businesses to the state, adopting tax credits exclusively for the space and defense industry, and making housing cheaper.
