DENVER – The Colorado Chamber of Commerce today announced that it will host a gubernatorial candidate forum ahead of the 2026 General Election at its Annual Meeting Luncheon on October 8 in Denver.
Democratic nominee Attorney General Phil Weiser and Republican nominee Victor Marx have confirmed participation. As part of the moderated conversation, the candidates will discuss their positions on issues critical to Colorado employers, the state’s economy and Colorado’s long-term competitiveness.
“This forum will give Colorado’s business community an opportunity to hear directly from both candidates about their visions for the state’s economic future,” said Colorado Chamber President and CEO Loren Furman. “The decisions made by Colorado’s next governor will have significant implications for employers across the state, and we look forward to a thoughtful conversation about those challenges and opportunities.”
Weiser currently serves as Colorado attorney general. His background also includes leadership at the University of Colorado and work supporting entrepreneurship and consumer protection.
Marx is a U.S. Marine Corps veteran and the founder of All Things Possible Ministries, a nonprofit organization focused on humanitarian assistance and trauma-relief work.
The Colorado Chamber Annual Meeting Luncheon will take place on October 8 at the Legacy at National Western Center. The event is open to both Colorado Chamber members and non-members. Registration and additional event information are available on the Chamber’s website.
