The Colorado Chamber is recognizing members of our staff to highlight the hard work they do to be a unifying voice for business and champion a healthy economic climate to secure Colorado’s future.

As Executive Director of the Colorado Chamber Foundation, Rachel Beck leads the strategic initiatives of Vision 2033, the Chamber’s 10-year action plan to strengthen Colorado’s business climate. Her work focuses on making Colorado a place where businesses can thrive, whether that means supporting tech companies as they innovate or helping improve the state’s legal climate so that businesses and citizens alike are protected. She also works to secure resources for these priorities and expand the Foundation’s reach and impact.
What Rachel enjoys most about her role is the opportunity to help improve the quality of life for people across the state. She’s proud to be part of a team that is focused on getting real results, and she finds purpose in working with others who are just as committed to making Colorado a better place to live and work.

One area of focus that’s especially meaningful to Rachel is housing. Her family moved to Colorado when she was in high school because it was a place where they could afford to buy a home. That experience drives her passion for addressing Colorado’s affordable housing challenges so that more families can have access to the same opportunities.
Outside of work, Rachel loves storytelling in all its forms, whether through books, theater or movies. She enjoys traveling, getting outside on her bike, skis or kayak, and spending time with friends. She’s also on a mission to find the best outdoor patio or rooftop dining spot in Denver.
After a busy day, Rachel usually unwinds by going for a walk in her neighborhood. It’s a walkable area with trees, ponds and a creek, and she often uses that time to listen to music, catch up with a friend or simply enjoy the quiet. At home, she’s usually relaxing with her two pets, Chester and Mooch.

When it comes to Colorado destinations, Rachel’s favorite is the Buena Vista and Salida area. From hot springs and mountain trails to historic small towns and mining ruins, she appreciates the natural beauty and the slower pace of life the region offers.
Rachel loves living and working in Colorado because it brings together beautiful scenery, outdoor recreation, vibrant arts and culture, and cool people who love to explore and create.
