Gov. Jared Polis has vetoed a union-friendly bill that received resounding support from state Democrats and harsh criticism from business interests.
The bill, Senate Bill 25-005, was designed to make it easier for unions to gain the right to negotiate for union security — that is, an agreement between a union and an employer under which all employees are required to pay a fee to the union as a condition of their employment.
