Faces Behind the Chamber: Lo Leeman

The Colorado Chamber is recognizing members of our staff to highlight the hard work they do to be a unifying voice for business and champion a healthy economic climate to secure Colorado’s future.

As Director of Investor Relations at the Colorado Chamber, Lo Leeman plays a key role in ensuring members are fully engaged in the Chamber’s benefits and receive maximum value from their membership. From onboarding new companies and discussing business and policy priorities with prospective members to visiting facilities and fostering connections, Lo’s work is centered on building strong, meaningful relationships with Chamber members.

What Lo loves most about her role is sharing the Chamber’s complex and impactful work with members, especially its advocacy efforts. This year marks her first legislative session at the Chamber, and she’s excited to share the vital work of the policy team with members. Lo is also looking forward to attending Leadership Colorado programs and being involved in the Coolest Thing Made in Colorado contest this summer.

Outside of work, Lo is passionate about hiking and immersing herself in nature. Known as “Nature Lo” by friends, she believes spending time in the wilderness brings out the best version of herself. She also enjoys curling up with a good speculative fiction novel and spending time with her black cat, Toothless.

As an adoptee, Lo is passionate about child welfare and has had the privilege of being a national public speaker on the topic. She has raised over $3.5 million as a keynote speaker at nonprofit events, further supporting the cause she deeply cares about.

Lo also has a few favorite spots in Colorado. One of her top choices is the Surf Hotel in Buena Vista, where she enjoys the nearby Mt. Princeton Hot Springs. During off-peak times, she recommends reserving the infinity pool for a peaceful and affordable retreat. Lo is also a fan of hikes with stunning lake views, including Ouzel Falls & Lake, Black Lake & Ribbon Falls and the Upper Piney River Falls Trail in Vail.

What Lo loves most about living in Colorado is the easy-going pace and sunny days. The culture here understands that sometimes you just need to take a spontaneous day off to enjoy the fall leaves or the mountains without missing a beat. For Lo, there’s no place she’d rather call home.
