Chamber member Rocky Mountain Tooling and Machining Association is hosting a National Robotics League Competition on April 15. The event will take place at Cherry Creek Innovation Campus in Centennial and will include students from 6 schools from the Denver Metro and Northern Colorado regions.
This yearly event is designed to engage students in a job-driven, project-based STEM (science technology engineering math) learning experience. The league helps close the workforce skills gap and promote pathways for manufacturing careers through hands-on projects that are fun.
New this year, the Rocky Mountain Tooling and Machining Association is offering sponsorships and vendor tables to those who want to promote the manufacturing industry, careers in manufacturing, or showcase manufacturing innovations to excite students and parents and inspire students to pursue a career in manufacturing.
The National Robotics League Competition hopes to partner with entities that have the same mission: to actively shrink the skills gap and to get more young adults into manufacturing careers.
