DENVER – Colorado Chamber of Commerce President and CEO Loren Furman released the following statement on the Colorado 2022 General Election results:

“Colorado businesses and working families continue to face uncertain economic times, and the leaders elected yesterday have a critical responsibility to guide our state forward. While we still await the final results in some districts, the Colorado Chamber congratulates Gov. Jared Polis on his reelection and all of the winners last night. The governor has been a collaborative partner to the business community throughout his first term and we look forward to working with him on common-sense policies for business.

We also applaud the victories of the state house and senate candidates endorsed by our PAC who won their respective races. Their early and enthusiastic commitment to Colorado businesses will be key to advancing our future-focused vision of strengthening our economic climate in the years to come.

As our attention turns to the 2023 session, we look forward to partnering with legislators on both sides of the aisle on unifying business issues and continuing to be a resource moving forward.”
