As Colorado leaders begin to implement the Regional Action Plans that came out of the 2025 Opportunity Now Regional Talent Summits, they are looking for employers and business groups to get involved and ensure these plans are employer-driven.
And the Colorado Chamber of Commerce, which played a major part in organizing the summits and will be involved in bringing the ideas that came from them to fruition, wants you to consider if there is a role that you can play.
Regional Action Committees will implement the 232 recommendations of the action plans in seven regions across the state, focusing on key industries for each area. Employers can advise on curriculum development in their sectors, contribute to marketing campaigns raising industry-specific awareness and be a part of the creation of career pipelines into their sectors.
To learn about what is happening in your sector and in your region, you can go to https://cwdc.colorado.gov/tactical-workforce-plans and click on the “Get Involved” link. You can also learn more about the action plans at that site.
Thank you all for your interest in improving Colorado’s workforce-development system and boosting the level of skilled talent into key industry sectors. If you have questions, feel free to contact Colorado Chamber Vice President of Strategic Initiatives Ed Sealover at 719-659-7907 or [email protected].
