Ark Valley Voice: Colorado State Civics Bee Competition to be Held Friday, July 24 in Denver

Colorado’s state competition for The National Civics Bee® will be held in Denver from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Friday, July 24. It will be held at the University of Denver Welcome Center in Daniels Great Hall (2000 Buchtel Boulevard South).

The Colorado Chamber of Commerce Foundation hosts the competition in partnership with the Daniels Fund, U.S. Chamber of Commerce Foundation, and El Pomar Foundation. Kinder Morgan is presenting the competition

Congressman Joe Neguse will be in attendance. Neguse will give the keynote address at the event.  Hanna Skandera Grady, president and Chief Executive Officer of the Daniels Fund, Rachel Beck, Executive Director of the Colorado Chamber Foundation, and Kyle Hybl, President and Chief Executive Officer of the El Pomar Foundation will also deliver remarks.
