The Grand Junction Area Chamber of Commerce on Monday received a $20,000 grant from the Child Care Access Alliance. This funding is dedicated to understanding and addressing local childcare challenges in Mesa County and the Western Slope.
The Grand Junction Chamber was one of seven chambers of commerce across Colorado selected through an application and review process to receive these funds. The Child Care Access Alliance is a statewide partnership established by the Colorado Chamber Foundation, Gary Community Ventures and Executives Partnering to Invest in Children (EPIC).
