Grand Valley middle school students competed in the National Civics Bee regional competition Saturday, facing off in a live quiz event testing their civics knowledge.
Three finalists earned the chance to participate in the state-level competition, hosted in Denver by the Colorado Chamber of Commerce on July 24. The state champion from that event will advance to the National Civics Bee Competition in Washington, D.C., this autumn.
