Middle school students from the Roaring Fork and Colorado river valleys, as well as Steamboat Springs, competed in the 2026 National Civics Bee regional competition in Carbondale on April 30.
The event was hosted by the Carbondale Chamber of Commerce and Youthentity in partnership with the Colorado Chamber of Commerce Foundation, the Daniels Fund and the Civic Trust of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Foundation. Schools in Basalt, Carbondale, Glenwood Springs, Rifle and Steamboat Springs participated.
