This Tuesday, the Colorado Chamber Governmental Affairs Council convened to review legislative updates and discuss recent amendments to introduced bills.
The meeting began with a discussion on two bills that passed in the Senate Appropriations Committee the morning of the council meeting. Chamber staff then updated the council on key developments happening with labor, housing and regulatory proposals as the legislative session nears its conclusion. Council members also discussed anticipated legislation, raising concerns about a proposed requirement on certain utilities that could significantly burden the state’s energy industry.
