DBJ: Aerospace companies, Colorado Chamber Foundation launch industry alliance

The Colorado Chamber of Commerce Foundation has partnered with some of the state’s biggest aerospace companies to lobby on behalf of the Centennial State’s space and aviation economy at the state and federal level.

The move comes roughly two months after the White House announced that U.S. Space Command would move from Colorado Springs to Huntsville, Alabama. Colorado Chamber Foundation Executive Director said the announcement “absolutely” played a role in forming the new Aerospace and Defense Alliance, headed by executives from Lockheed Martin Space and rocketmaker United Launch Alliance.
