In honor of Women’s History Month and the Chamber’s Women’s Forum, the Colorado Chamber is recognizing women business leaders, executives and job creators who are core to our local Colorado communities. Each of the women featured in the month of March are panelists for the Colorado Chamber’s Women’s Forum happening on March 27.
Today’s feature is Trudi Boyd with Chevron
Trudi Boyd is the corporate affairs manager at Chevron, where she leads the corporate affairs team for the Rockies Business Unit. In this role, she oversees critical areas including issues and crisis management, social investment, community relations, employee engagement and communications.
With more than 25 years of experience in corporate, agency and government roles, Boyd has developed and led complex communications and public policy strategies. Her expertise includes shaping public policy debates, managing legislative and regulatory threats, and creating impactful advocacy and reputational campaigns. She has built successful strategies to engage stakeholders, manage crises and influence public perception.
Before joining Chevron, Boyd oversaw corporate communications and media at Noble Energy, playing a key role in supporting the Colorado team with multifaceted strategies across stakeholder engagement, social and digital outreach, crisis communications and employee activation.
Boyd’s career has spanned a wide range of senior positions, including executive vice president of a public affairs agency in Washington, D.C., general manager of Allison+Partners’ D.C. office, senior vice president at FTI Consulting, and director of media relations at the National Association of Manufacturers. She also served as chief of staff in the U.S. House of Representatives and began her career as a news director, anchor and reporter.
An accomplished, award-winning public affairs and corporate communications strategist, Boyd was named a Top Woman in PR by PR News and earned two PRSA Silver Anvil Awards for Excellence in Issues Management and Public Affairs. She has led successful campaigns across industries including energy, food and nutrition, agriculture and health care.
Boyd holds a degree in journalism from Texas Tech University, where she was named Outstanding Alumnus of the College of Media and Communication.
