In honor of Women’s History Month and the Chamber’s Women’s Forum, the Colorado Chamber is recognizing women business leaders, executives and job creators who are core to our local Colorado communities. Each of the women featured in the month of March are panelists for the Colorado Chamber’s Women’s Forum happening on March 27.
Today’s feature is Angie Klett with Huntington Insurance
Angie Klett is the president of Huntington Insurance and HBI Title Services, where she leads one of the largest bank-owned insurance agencies in the nation. In this role, she oversees a team of more than 350 risk advisors and staff, providing a full suite of risk management solutions, including commercial property and casualty, employee benefits, life insurance, personal lines and title services to businesses and consumers.
With nearly 30 years of experience in the insurance industry, Klett has built an impressive career spanning finance, corporate development and insurance business leadership. Before joining Huntington, she served as senior vice president of corporate development at Nationwide Insurance, where she led ventures, mergers and acquisitions, strategic partnerships and the company’s wholesale insurance brokerage. Her extensive background also includes leadership roles in finance, serving as chief financial officer of personal and standard commercial lines, chief financial officer of technology and chief procurement officer. She has also led teams across the insurance value chain in marketing, service centers, product development, underwriting and distribution.
Klett holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Ohio Wesleyan University, where she was a two-sport college athlete. She is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and holds a Chartered Financial Consultant (CFC) designation. She lives just outside of Columbus in Circleville, with her husband, Kevin, and their 14-year-old son, Wyatt.
