Leadership Colorado Kickoff at the Capitol!

Last week, 29 emerging leaders from 25 companies across Colorado embarked on their transformative journey with Leadership Colorado! Kicking off the year with energy and insight, participants gained a firsthand look at the Colorado Chamber of Commerce’s efforts to foster a pro-business environment.

The day continued with an exclusive tour of the Colorado Capitol, including the iconic Dome, Mr. Brown’s Attic, and the House and Senate galleries. They expanded their understanding of state government through a dynamic discussion with Assistant Minority House Leader Representative Ty Winter, who—alongside expert guidance from our own Ed Sealover—led the class through a mock bill hearing on HB25-1040, offering a real-world glimpse into the legislative process. A highlight of the day was an engaging presentation by Joe Rice, Director of State and Local Government Relations at Lockheed Martin Space. The session concluded on a high note with a networking happy hour in the elegant Club Room at The Brown Palace Hotel.

This is an incredibly sharp and engaged group, and we can’t wait to reconvene next month for an in-depth exploration of Colorado’s restaurant and hospitality industry with Snooze, an A.M. Eatery.

A big thank you to our amazing members and companies supporting this year’s Leadership Colorado participants—we appreciate your commitment to cultivating the next generation of leaders!
