Faces Behind the Chamber: Loren Furman

The Colorado Chamber is recognizing members of our staff to highlight the hard work they do to be a unifying voice for business and champion a healthy economic climate to secure Colorado’s future.

As President and CEO of the Colorado Chamber, Loren Furman leads the organization with a focus on advancing Colorado’s business community. Loren works closely with her team to shape the Chamber’s vision and champion initiatives that make a positive impact for Colorado businesses. She believes in the power of collaboration and ensures that her team has fun while working together toward their goals.

One of the things Loren loves most about her role is the camaraderie she shares with her team. Working alongside individuals who are as passionate and committed as she is makes every day rewarding and helps the Chamber reach new heights. Loren is especially proud of the progress the team has made in recent years, launching new strategic initiatives tailored to Colorado businesses’ needs and creating events that celebrate the people and businesses driving Colorado’s economy.

Looking ahead, Loren is excited about these new initiatives and the opportunities they bring. Over the past three years, the Chamber has introduced several events aimed at showcasing Colorado’s vibrant business landscape, and Loren is eager to see how these programs continue to support local businesses and highlight the unique talents across the state.

Outside of work, Loren enjoys spending quality time with her husband, Danny, and indulging in her passions for travel, tennis, pickleball, skiing and outdoor activities. Recently, Loren and Danny explored Turkey, diving into its culture, cuisine and history—a memorable experience they’re proud to add to their travel adventures.

For those looking to experience a Colorado gem, Loren recommends Beaver Creek, a place close to her heart. It’s where she and Danny exchanged vows and where they continue to enjoy skiing, hiking and discovering local restaurants.

What Loren appreciates most about living and working in Colorado is the balance it offers. With no bugs, low humidity and friendly, laid-back people, Colorado is truly perfect for a great work-life balance!
