With nearly 139,000 new businesses in Colorado in 2023, according to the U.S. Census Bureau, there’s apt to be some cool creations coming from the Centennial State.
The Colorado Chamber of Commerce named Freedom Trax, an off-road motorized wheelchair attachment, the most interesting invention made in the state at its annual “Coolest Thing Made in Colorado” contest on Thursday.
The contest — which celebrated its third year on Thursday at an award ceremony in Denver — determines the best products made in Colorado’s manufacturing industry based on nominations from across the state and an independent panel of judges.
