Western Slope Now: Coolest Thing Made in Colorado nominations open

Have you ever wondered what’s the coolest man-made thing in the Centennial State? The Colorado Chamber of Commerce is thinking the same as it’s begun its third annual Coolest Thing Made in Colorado Competition.

The chamber is hosting the contest, which is free to enter, to showcase some of the most exciting and distinct creations in the manufacturing industry. The nominations started on Monday and will close on July 26.

“The Coolest Thing contest provides a unique platform for manufacturers across Colorado to showcase their best creations,” Tricia Smith, executive vice president of investor and community engagement for the Colorado Chamber, said in a press release. “Each year, the quality of nominations continues to exceed our expectations, highlighting the creativity and innovation within our state’s manufacturing sector. We are excited to celebrate the exceptional products that will be submitted this year.”
