The Colorado Chamber is recognizing members of our staff to highlight the hard work they do to be a unifying voice for business and champion a healthy economic climate to secure Colorado’s future.
As Community Engagement and Events Consultant at the Colorado Chamber, Crystal works alongside Tricia Smith in the Community Engagement and Events Department, playing a vital role in connecting with the community and organizing key events.
Crystal takes immense pride in her work on the Coolest Thing Made contest. This initiative showcases the entrepreneurial spirit that the Colorado Chamber strives to support, highlighting exciting, innovative products created by local businesses. For Crystal, the project is a testament to the Chamber’s mission of fostering business growth and innovation.
Looking ahead, Crystal is particularly excited about the 2024 National Civics Bee competition in Washington D.C. The Colorado Chamber Foundation organized the state competition, held in May, where the Colorado State Champion was announced. Crystal is eager to see the state representative compete on the national stage in November.
Outside of her professional life, Crystal is passionate about cooking and baking, perfect her culinary skills to the point where her family prefers home-cooked meals over dining out. She cherishes time spent with her family, playing with their dog, skiing and enjoying the outdoors. Her hobbies provide a perfect balance to her work, allowing her to unwind and recharge.
During the summer, Crystal finds relaxation by enjoying the sunshine barefoot in the grass with her family. In the winter, she loves playing in the snow, creating joyful memories with her loved ones. Recently, she had the incredible experience of witnessing the spectacular northern lights right from her backyard!
One of Crystal’s favorite hidden gems in Colorado is Cafe Prague in Morrison, a delightful Czech restaurant that she highly recommends.
