David W. Graebel, founder of global talent mobility solutions firm Graebel Companies Inc., died in November at age 94. He grew his firm, whose headquarters he moved to Colorado in 1983, into a leading worldwide global relocation management company that today employs more than 1,000 people in offices across three continents and earned a ranking in the top five of ColoradoBiz’s Top 50 Family-Owned Companies list in 2023.
A Colorado Chamber member, Dave also was very involved in the Denver community, serving as a member of the corporate committee of the Volunteers of America for many years. At his church, he served as chairman of the board of directors and as a Sunday School teacher.
