Leadership Colorado Participants Tour Molson Coors and ‘Cheers’ to a Great Year!

Earlier this month, Leadership Colorado participants enjoyed their last tour together as a cohort by learning about the history and future of Molson Coors Beverage Company. Coors Brewery Archivist Heidi Harris led us on a journey from the earliest days of the brewery through the current business as the largest single-site brewery in the world. John Stonebreaker, VP of Golden Valley Operations, and Peter Coors, Director of the G150 Commissioning Project, talked about making product decisions, modernizing the brewery for a more sustainable future, riding the trends in the industry, and community engagement. Participants took a tour of the brewery and sampled delicious cold beer along the way.

The program ended with a group reflection about the leadership lessons and critical business issues learned throughout the year and was extended an invitation to partake in future Leadership Colorado alumni events. The 31 participants in the 2023 class were immersed in the dynamic inner workings of prominent Colorado companies through nine experiential, exclusive tours and policy-based forums alongside key Colorado executives and officials, and we’d like to thank every participant and participating company for their support of this incredible program.
