What’s cooler than a spacecraft that can collect samples of mysterious asteroids? When it comes to things made in Colorado, not much.
That’s according to the Colorado Chamber of Commerce, which on Thursday announced the 2023 winner of its annual “Coolest Thing Made in Colorado” contest is Lockheed Martin Space.
The contest collects nominations from across the state and aims to spotlight Colorado’s manufacturing industry. Products must be made in Colorado through a manufacturing process to qualify. Lockheed edged out nine other finalists for the win and was chosen by an independent panel of judges.
