Colorado Chamber Recognizes Legislative Rockstars: Jennifer Harpole and Grace McGuire

We are incredibly fortunate to have Colorado Chamber of Commerce members who dedicate their time to the Chamber and its members during the Legislative Session. Two individuals rose up significantly to help with Labor & Employment Issues. Jennifer Harpole, Shareholder at Littler and Grace McGuire, Special Counsel at Littler.

Jennifer advises clients on all aspects of wage and hour law, including Colorado’s new COMPS Order, Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, and COVID-specific regulations. Grace focuses on consulting with a wide range of employers on pay equity issues, with a focus on Colorado’s Equal Pay for Equal Work Act. Both brought their knowledge to our Labor & Employment Council in 2023 and provided thoughtful feedback that guided the Chamber’s amendment requests for SB23-105, Ensure Equal Pay for Equal Work. We not only appreciate their expertise, but Grace took the time to testify on SB 23-105 and did a great job laying out the practical operation issues in the current law regarding equal pay for equal work. We at the Chamber look forward to continuing our partnership with Jennifer and Grace as the implementation of equal pay for equal work resumes.

A HUGE THANK YOU to Jennifer Harpole and Grace McGuire for their commitment to protecting the interests of businesses and employees in Colorado.
